Iain is Managing Director at Fraser Wealth Management. He joined the Financial Services industry in 1981 and has extensive management experience with a number of companies, notably Zurich and Prudential, where he first worked alongside Paul Bocking and Kevin Gillibrand in the High Net Worth Division based in Manchester.
Having taken a sabbatical from the industry for a few years to run his own sports analysis business, Iain was tempted back into Financial Services by Paul and Kevin in 2011. “I wouldn’t have come back into the industry unless I was working for a company that put clients first and with advisers who demonstrated high levels of integrity and professionalism,” said Iain. “I knew Paul and Kevin from my days at Prudential and I had total belief in them as people. I knew I could trust them and I was hugely impressed by what they had achieved at Fraser Wealth Management. They were looking for someone they could trust to take over the day to day management of the business so they could focus on their role as advisers and I was very flattered that I was the only person in their minds.”
Iain has a partner, Carole, and a daughter and son, Elle and Sam, who both work in recruitment. He enjoys most sports and still plays football regularly for West Kirby United Vets and a 5-a-side team aptly titled ‘Hardly Athletic’! He also coached a very successful junior rugby union team for 10 years at Caldy Rugby Club and his main claim to fame is that he appeared in two separate series of ‘television’s toughest quiz’, The Krypton Factor, in 1983 and 27 years later in 2010 at the age of 49.
